ProAchat was created in April 2005 and is a subsidiary of Mapotel/Best Western. It is a group purchasing organization for voluntary chains, independent hotels or hotel clubs. This GPO is a structure managing the purchases of its affiliates. This negotiation involves the study of products, the search for suppliers, the negotiation of purchases. The services are reserved for the exclusive use of ProAchat members.

The challenges for Proachat are to make the catalog more accessible to hotels and to obtain a better statistical representation of the purchases made in order to generate compensation for the purchasing group.

The eprocurement solution

Proachat has launched this eprocurement platform for all Best Western hotels and independent hotels. The goal is to be the online leader in procurement for independent hotels. The platform offers several categories which are: food, drink, consumable, decoration, equipment, industrial, services…
